Is this a reaction to paying big bucks to a high school "olineman since we runn the bawwl"?
Has this poisoned the locker room?

The next man up tread mill is niave

Don't know, but I'd put that in the category of empty, baseless speculation.
"Next man up" is just reality - and though I would prefer not to lose him, we do have some good receivers on this team ready to take his place.

I doubt Petty had anything to do with Singleton's decision.

Good luck to Singleton out there. Have a feeling this is going to be a Nate McCollum or Ahmarean Brown type situation.

He may garner a bigger NIL in the beginning but I doubt he is going to become a bigger part of any teams offense than he currently is at Georgia Tech. I don't see this as a good move for him in terms of NFL prospects or readiness.

I will present a contrarian view. Not saying we won't miss him but he had a number of drops and occassionally made poor choices when returning kicks. I thought he would bcecome a Kelly Campbell but never quite did. I feel like those slot guys guys are like A-Backs in Paul's system...probably the easiest position to go get guys who can play it and play it effectively. Was there a time 9outside of injuries perhaps) that we didn't have a quality A back or two or three? Note: it is imperative that we replace him either internally or externally or this WILL be a much bigger deal. But look at the loss of Nate McCollum Amherean (sp?) Brown. We thought those were big blows but those guys vanished upon leaving Tech and were replaced quite easily. This not like losing a star DT or LB.

With that being said, I hope he stays and if he leaves I wish him nothing but the best going forward.

I would rather pay every o linemen and d linemen all of our NIL money than skill position players. WRs are a dime a dozen. Everyone crucified me for saying Nate McCullom was easily replaceable and well he was. Singleton will be no different. He really isn’t a skilled route runner and his hands are a liability at times. He’s just fast

Yeah. There is a reason that Rutherford was always the go to in need to have it situations.

Maybe we ponied up enough, and maybe with he thought with King he might get a better year.

Tough for him with number of deep balls this year with King’s arm. Maybe writing on the wall for King’s health next year?
