Or SMU didn't want to give teh young man a full ride SCHOLLY and teh family couldn't afford OUT of STATE TUITION, GT had a scholly to give out.. I think we currently still only have 75 on SCHOLLY !

That can't be true. All FBS football scholarships are full scholarships. Also, SMU is a private school and therefore doesn't distinguish between in or out of state.

He attended the Army prep school and those classes do not apply to an NCAA program for admissions purposes.
