I know money's tight but I'd rather get nothing extra as opposed to a short stack of cheap coasters. I received 3- all have very poor graphics and due to bad packaging have already been damaged prior to me opening the package (the corners are smashed). One coaster has a GT on it so it's actually recognizable that there's an attachment to our fine institute. Second has a blurry Grant Field image & third was a head on shot of the Wreck entering Grant Field. To me the overall lackluster quality of the product is just another indicator from the leadership regarding how little they care about athletics or the fanbase.

That being said I'm glad that GT didn't eff up my season tickets like my Ireland tickets. I hate complaining to our school about screwing up things as simple as mailing out something we paid for over 6 months ago, but c'mon guys this doesn't take a rocket scientist to get right. On order is placed, seats are assigned and within an extremely short period of time (minutes) afterwards the system should be able to mail you what you've purchased. They're actively encouraging me not to buy anything directly and just wait like I used to & buy off the secondary market for a whole lot less aggravation and $$.

Yeah, the packaging was bad. The tickets, coasters, and coupons were all stuffed in a soft UPS bubble envelope, so all the tickets are all bent up like they were already stuffed in someone's wallet at a game.

Oh well, they'll still get me in.

Lol....there were at least 4 different versions of coaster but we only got 3.....I'm sorry but that seems kinda chintzy. Also not a fan of big thick coasters that glasses can topple off of. It probably insulates table tops better but I'd rather have flat ones. That's just me being picky and complainy though. If no trinket had been included I wouldn't have thought twice about it :)

Maybe it's a response to all the drinking that was necessitated by the debacle that was last season...

Now that I have received my package, I'm going to expand on this thought. I think the coasters were designed by someone still imbibing the whiskey clear. They look like something I'd pass over in a thrift shop.

The real prize in the package, as always, are the tickets.

Silver Gold lining time: ;)

The Parking Spot discount card had an Old Gold look to it. That in light of that company's corporate color scheme - primary colors yellow (AKA "Buzz Gold") & black, it is an indicator that the GTAA is forcing the issue with the licensees. It certainly would have been more in line with their corporate image than GT's to stick with their colors.

Anyone have info on this parkingspot card we got in our package? How does this work?
Yeah, it's for the airport third party parking company "parkingspot". I'm using it as we speak for my long term parking while in Ireland. Discount card is saving me almost 2/3 of Hartsfield rate. Plus it's covered (extra $) and they'll even detail your vehicle (extra $)
