Don't get me wrong, I love Leggett and MLD, as well as our AB recruits. But I will say I don't think they are head and shoulders above our previous RB recruits. I'm on record as saying I LOVE Leggett even, but if you recall, he was a late commit that some saw as a B-lister. Certainly not a slam-dunk recruit. The big difference is this wave of perfect-fit OL. They are mean, they move well, and they love to run block. IMO we are about to be in offensive reload mode with this system, mainly due to OL.

You can't underestimate JT's affect on defenses and how that makes our OL look. He freezes LB's and sets them up like bowling pins for our OL's. At least, that's how it played out vs Pitt. Teams used to our scheme and blocking techniques fair much better, even with JT behind center. Let's see if we can keep the ball rolling vs Uva. Clemson and Uga will be the real barometer.

Yes, DCS, at this point, although I want to beat the Gaggers very badly, I would be pleasantly amused if we make their D look pitiful with our O. So, if we get beat, for example 56-45, that would be much better than losing on both sides of the ball. But, of course, it would still be a loss, and that sucks. I want to win, and I am in no way giving the game up a this point, but their O vs. our D does not currently look like a winning proposition.

First scout team POTW I have seen here, but glad those guys are getting a tad of attention. Seems they are like outcasts in the progam.

It's just because the Freshmen spend the first year on the scout team so not many people focus on that...it is a pretty crucial role though and those kids have a chance to learn and improve during that year. Those guys will start getting a lot of attention from us come Spring time.

A question for those who may have some knowledge on the subject. Do we give the current years scout team a "pre-spring" practice schedule during bowl prep?
