SB Nation - Good Advanced Stats From Duke Game

I really like the probability of win graph updated each play during the game. Nothing surprised me here - we beat ourselves and Duke didn't screw up. Here's to hoping Duke screws up this weekend and most weekends there after - like they did against Miami.

I assume that the win probability always starts at 50/50 at the beginning of each game when he does these charts?

Either that, or the only other thing I would imagine it would be is that the original win probability is somehow based off of the spread coming into the game.
