My fellow Tech fans,

So, in case you live under a rock.... Tech's football attendance was poor the last two years. We averaged around 35,000 people per home game. The reason why is simple. The team was bad. With TV and streaming being more accessible people want to show up for a good product. I saw way too many stories of people not renewing season tickets out of anger at Collins and TStan.

Now Collins and TStan are gone, and Key is in. BUT NO MATTER WHO IS COACHING US, we NEED to get more butts in seats. Players and fans feed off of your energy! Recruits are more likely to come here when they visit and see a full crowd of white gold and navy. We can't be the vandy of the ACC.

My dad has renewed our families' season tickets (which we have held since before I was born) for this season and we plan to attend every game. Win or lose, we need to show up for our student athletes!

So the purpose of this thread is to
1. remind people to try and attend games during the 2023 season and
2. see who has already made plans.

Go Jackets!

Sidewalk fan here who renewed 4 tickets. My wife made me promise last year that if I renewed for the 2022 season, I would not renew for 2023 season unless (a) GT had a winning season in 2022, or (b) TFG was fired. Since (b) was accomplished, she's actually excited about going to games for the first time in 2-3 seasons and has already asked when the season starts. I hope her excitement is rewarded!

I did not renew. It doesn't make since for me with my kids schedules. I am only able to make one or two games a year. I will however do my best to make 2-3 games this year.
Same here, I will attend when I can but can’t commit to all games

also, I don’t think the folks on here are the one’s causing the attendance problems

Hooked up, Donated up, and trying to talk wife into coming from fla to spring game!

(I hope the gtaa does a better job of asking that unused tickets be donated. Its was a bad look when the gt millionaires sold their unused tickets to uga grads. Seems like gtaa or someone could set up way to donate to Gt NIL.)
