I think the TV is typically ahead so if you have a DVR you can just pause it till it syncs up.

Do you have to keep syncing it or does it stay synced for the whole game once you get it? Or does my question even make sense?

Side comment. Boston and Chicago are 2 great cities. I miss living in the Boston area and my wife and I have loved our visits to Chicago. Nothing to do with nothing but I love seeing where Tech fans live.

Agree on these cities...which helps because I live in Boston and have family in Chicago. Excellent pizza either way (just very different styles, though)

I don't know. I suspect it would depend on buffering of audio since I'd guess dvr was fairly constant.
