He was one of the life presevers in August 1968 for us incoming GT Freshmen football players as Jerry Glanville introduced us to the speed & conditioning levels required to play at that level. He was never hesitant to take on challenges or to be a pioneer, e.g., Womens Basketball & AD at GT. RIP Jim.

As a ga tech guy w no extra $ , i would watch any practices that had Jerry G screaming. Glad you had a coach like Jim.

He got us tickets to the Tech - Georgia game circa late 60’s. His BIL was my best friend growing up. Great guy and loving wife. RIP Jimmy!
