I'm assuming Jamal is coming back and will be the unquestioned starter as he enters his Senior year.

After him, it seemed clear that Chad Alexander (Soph) is #2. Anthony Carrie and Trelain Maddox behind Alexander.

Incoming freshmen JP Powell (4*), Shane Marshall (3*), and unsigned but strong verbal commit Isiah Groves (3*).

That's a SUPER deep RB room - great talent top to bottom.

I fully expect to see Carrie really take a big step forward at some point - that kid is special. Trelain Maddox has the size to really be a sledge hammer. Incoming Powell could be a special player. Marshall also can be a sledge hammer. Groves HS video reminds me a bit of Jamal. I really feel like this is the most RB depth since the early CPJ days.

Agree that its got potential - to be good after they learn plays, blocking for qb and on edge at college level, show they can adjust pass routes to get open and then free lance.

Imo, we need more ready to go portal types UNLESS COACHES SAY THESE ARE READY NOW.

I am envious of Texas RB rokm with Tasard Choice as RB coach.

Did you see the hit he took at miami... he was out for most of the year with a concussion protocol that forced him out multiple weeks then he took that hit.
I did, but he came back into the Miami game after, so I figured it looked worse than it was you know?

Yeah I think he passed it because he was so use to the tests I don't think they were going to risk further injury if they didn't have to
