Happy Saturday and THWg! I ran into Rashaad today at Atlanta Grill Company off hwy 9 into between Roswell and Alpharetta. Incredibly nice, humble guy. (It was my first time meeting him.) He was grilling out front trying to promote his bbq sauce. As much as I want to help out fellow alumni, I bought a couple of bottles. I’m here to tell you that it’s phenominal. I’ve got some chicken wings smoking in the Big Green Egg right now. In case you’re interested, they sell it at AGC and Lucy’s Market in Buckhead, but he’s trying to get into Kroger and Publix. It’s good enough to sell itself, but it’s not well known enough that he couldn’t use a little help. It’s call Reid’s BBQ sauce. Below is an AJC article I found promoting it. Help the man out. He’s part of the reason we took out FSU and Bowden.

Dude. I smoke bbq wings and sweet chili sriracha wings. The sweet chili is always the head turner at events. Using Rashaad’s sauce (the sweet tangy sauce), this is the first time the bbq has matched the sweet chili sriracha.

Every time I watch it I want to strangle him for trying to scoop it up instead of fall on it! It’s pretty amazing he came up with it in the middle of those FSU dudes.

Cool story. I’ll order a bottle and give it a try.
