Wet ball + good opposing pass defense = run the damn ball.
I'm just east of Durham and it's raining like the ark could float past my dock this morning. The low sitting just offshore is stuck in place by a high pressure area in New England, causing NE wind at or above 25 kts. Expect rain, gusty wind, and slippery footballs this weekend. I will be in Durham, but my wife tells me we are NOT going to sit in weather like this to watch Duke play football. She's an App State grad and Duke hater. We (coastal virginia) have a nor'eastern for the next 3 days. Probably 5 inches of rain. Looking at the rain chart for fluke area, it will be raining tomorrow. http://www.accuweather.com/en/weath...florida-south-carolina-to-new-jersey/52553733
So what, we both play in it and we better want it more.
I would expect the real attendance to be about 10-15,000 since last week was reported at 24,000 for NW. It will make the game more like a scrimmage with few fans. Again, we need to want it more and it won't matter.
Dry ball/wet ball/good/bad opposing defense- answer is still the same: RUN THE DAMN BALL

This is a must win situation for us. Unlike last year, we are coming in to this game focused. You'll have your pick of seats. I'll be watching a tablet somewhere in Ohio. Wish I were there! Rain and all. This is a game I have circled in my mind since last year. More than any other ACC game. Literally, I'd like to see us dismember Fluke.
And yes @Stinger90 , need cojones.
Weather Channel forecast has been all over the place. It went from 90% chance of rain to 65% at kickoff right now (9:30p on Thursday). Even if the rain moves out by gametime, field will probably have had 24+ hours of rainfall.
While this is a good start, the fact that our indoor practice facility does not have full-scale weather effects rooms for specific drills in adverse weather is another example of our failure to embrace technology that is so readily available due to the nature of GT.

I will be watching the 2nd half on my phone. My little guy has a flag football game at 2pm. Argh!!!!You'll have your pick of seats. I'll be watching a tablet somewhere in Ohio. Wish I were there! They would have just slowed you down! This game is no day for families, it's a time to rage and make right last week and last year!I'll be there rain or shine with whiskey running through my veins. Whole family was supposed to go but now it looks like me and the brother in law. Gonna be a good day
