Feel bad for Mason but he can't wave the ball around like that when surrounded by the D with the game on the line. He got raked across the facemask which didn't help. Should have been a flag, but it's his job to hold onto the ball.

Big mistake by Thomas. He needed to go down and then it's victory formation. As it was Washington got off a Hail Mary that didn't work but still they had a chance! He needed to have watched how Singleton ended a game!

Thomas played a fair amount today as Dallas used 3 safeties a good amount in the game. He is a core special teams player and the 3rd safety for Dallas now. Good for him!

If he goes down, the game is over. Once he gained possession, scoring a TD is the only way Washington could have won.
I was wondering if he had a touchdown built into his contract incentives. It was a poor play but if they are gonna give him $100k to not slide, can you blame him?
I think this ball likely bounces off a Commanders player before the 45 and a flag gets thrown but he still executes a nice instinctual play to attack the ball and gain possession, so credit there.

They have had it going at South Carolina so he would have to take a pay cut to portal back and be ok to compete against lessor talent. . He did great things with gt.
Gt vs Usc now
Rivals 25 recruiting fb class rank has gt and usc with players equally ranked at 88.6 but gt is 3rd in acc and usc is 13th in Sec.
Watching gt bb i note we suck but are able to hang w a few acc teams. Looking at rankings Acc is way down as we have 2 teams in top 25 and Sec has 10.
