I am trying to recall if we ever had 3 backs at the same time as good as Mason, Gibbs and Smith. Their talents may have been hidden by other issues. Can somebody refresh my memory on this?

Jonathan Dwyer, Anthony Allen, Roddy Jones, Orwin Smith in 2009? Also had Marcus Wright, Embry Peeples, and Lucas Cox on that team.

2005 had PJ Daniels, Tashard Choice, and Mike Cox at FB, all went to play in the NFL. Also had Rashaun Grant on that team.

49ers cut one of their RB's today, not Mason but I can't tell if they are done. Anybody have an update, hope that Mason makes it.

mason had a phenomenal preseason. he was never supposed to make that roster but they went with an extra rb than normal. very impressive and very deserved

thanks for sharing the list - TC made it - wow and have to admit suprised by that one the most - I thought lack of speed would eliminate him. Good for him. Jordan Mason -not suprised - NFL is mean and for big tough guys - he is one. Gibbs is going to have to tougheen up to be good RB in NFL - we'll see.
