Procedure for creating a succesful schedule

Georgia Tech Scheduling Procedure

1. Go to https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs
2. On "Team Statistics" dropdown, select Rushing Defense
3. Ignore Pages 1 and 2 entirely
   
4. Click Page 3
5. Scroll to bottom of Page 3
   
6. Select Bottom 3 Teams: Bowling Green - UCONN - UMASS
7. Schedule Completed
8. If those teams are not available, select next 3 up: New Mexico State, Oregon State, Georgia State
9. Follow procedure until first 3 games are confirmed

Additional Information:

• Georgia Tech leads the nation in rushing
• Set a record for the most games in a season with over 400 yards rushing
• The offensive line returns
• The QB returns
• An All-ACC B-Back returns from injury, and is backed up by two guys starting right now
• The A-Backs next season are higher rated and faster than the ones in place now, plus you return Cottrell

End Result:

• 3-0 start to this season, with something like 1,500 rushing yards already on the books.
• Fans are happy
• Players have confidence
• Depth chart solidified

Next years schedule will be interesting. USF and at Temple early and what looks like an ACC opponent to open the season. We lose quite a bit of talent/experience on both sides of the ball. Luckily, the young guys have got some meaningful reps and seem to be really talented.
