Actually he's right. There are two valid meanings yet different meanings for that sentence. I am an English teacher after all, its literally my job to know this. But maybe that's just an appeal to authority fallacy and not your cup of tea? Oh well, just read it again with a more open mind.

Lighten up, download a sense of humor. Or not. Because whatever meaning the phrase can have doesn't interest me at all. Just thought it unusual the board was occupied with it.
