Post-season Thoughts

I've been mostly off message boards since the beginning of the year (and frankly enjoying life more due to that), but since the season is over thought I would give my thoughts.

While this is true, it also aligns with us playing a much easier part of the schedule.

In our last 9 ACC games (including the ACCT) we had 7 games against teams that finished in the bottom 7 of the league (not including us) and 2 against teams that finished in the top 7. In the first 13 that split was 4 games against the bottom 7 and 9 against the top 7. Now we obviously played better regardless of opponent the last month or so, but the schedule turned out to be very front loaded as well.

I stated that in an earlier post. Our ACC schedule is always top heavy as far as difficulty goes. Most years, we have UNC, FSU, UVA, and Duke right away. The back end is much lighter, which is the way it is. Winning a few of those earlier games could be big for us in the future because it seems we typically have a lot of winnable games at the end of the year.
