A beloved city of Atlanta landmark could soon be torn down after being the victim of two fires, at least one of which was arson.

Yeah, once it burned, there was no way it wasn't coming back as a high rise apartment/condo building, maybe with a Krispy Kreme on the ground floor.

The land is too valuable to "leave" as an old-school Krispy Kreme.

An historic Krispy Kreme location in Midtown Atlanta on Ponce will be demolished and rebuilt following two fires that happened within months of each other. The restaurant is owned by Shaquille O’Neal, who lives in metro Atlanta.
