There is a new ToddCast with a thorough discussion of changes for the upcoming season. You can listen here.

They are handing out 20,000 Disani bottles of water at the first game, sponsored by CocaCola.
How generous of them. You know what would ease the problem? Not playing every September game at noon. Now that I’ve derailed the thread, I’ll show myself out.

In the Toddcast, he mentioned that medical needs could be brought in an appropriate bag, but would be suspect to further searching. I'm willing to bet a diaper bag would fall under this guideline.
A diaper bag is not medically necessary. Some medical equipment is carried in a bag unique to the equipment itself, think portable oxygen. It is not difficult to transition baby/kid gear to a clear bag, I've done it many times without issue.

Instead of a shirt. I'd rather have a free bottle of water for every ticket I have each game. Haha

The security pros at the gates will correctly identify any infants as the legitimate safety concerns they are and will assuredly test any possible baby formulas for explosives.

As a result we will all be very safe...

"Don't say the child's name!"

(Bonus points if you get the reference and the relevance)

I was listening to the ToddCast this morning and didn't hear that, so I texted a good friend that works at the AA. Here's his response: "Jon, you are correct that we had to edit it shortly after posting it. We'd been working to make it happen, but found out late last night that we can't execute on that scale due to a couple of issues. Working on some other things that will hopefully come together. See you Saturday at JYA!"

Was planning to bring the season ticket holder bottle anyway, so not a huge issue.

Here is a question. My friend is bringing his 1.5 year old daughter. If he needs to bring in anything for her it must be in a clear bag? Or are babies exempt?

From the Georgia Tech Clear Bag Policy FAQ: http://ramblinwreck.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/f18-clear-bag-faq.pdf
What about diaper bags?
For the safety and security of our fans, we are requesting all items, including baby supplies to be carried in approved clear bags. If there are medical necessities for an alternative bag, fans will be directed to the respective gate supervisor.

What's the deal with the "no zipper" rule on seal seat cushions? I've got 3 GT seat cushions with zipper compartments on the front flap that hangs over the seat which I bought at the GT bookstore a few years ago. Guess I'll be using my blue Dale Earnhardt seat cushions instead.
I have a seat cushion that is designed to hold an entire bottle of liquor, so maybe it’s because of those.

Very good question...I am in the same situation. I may call the GTAA and ask before Saturday...one more thing, if you ask them then be sure to tell them to properly communicate this stuff to the security folks. A few years back my wife got into a huge argument because they wouldn't let her bring in food when the policy clearly stated that we could. She threw a big fit about it and I went on in and watched the game (too much beer to care at that point). Sure enough, she showed up towards the end of the first quarter with an escort from the GTAA and her full bag of food.
Are you saying that you left your WIFE standing outside the stadium while you took yourself inside?! You left her all alone? standing up for YOUR rights? all alone?

I know. It really sucks. I'll try to post a picture of it tonight so you can see what I'm talking about.

Anyone else have seat cushions like these? Really sucks that we can't use them at our football games anymore.
