Parking/traffic

With all the events this evening, I'm wondering about taking Marta vs parking in the parking deck as usual. Anyone else coming from OTP north have any suggestions?

I'm coming in from the West Side...taking MARTA. I expect traffic to be awful.

I drive to Doraville and park at the station there then take the train all the way to North Ave. So many less headaches. I just wish Cobb and Gwinnett would get off their high horses and expand MARTA up north.

Traffic is gonna be a nightmare. I'd stay far away from anywhere near Bankhead especially. Joe Biden is giving his speech tonight and the whole area will be shut down. On top of that is the Falcons game at the dome, and I'm sure Peachtree St. NE will be busy with everyone moving in for Dragoncon this weekend. I'd say go to a Marta station as far away from civilization as possible and put up with the longer ride.

Marta's trip planner shows about 20 minutes.

I've done it tons of times. Fastest was 18 mins longest was 45. Averages around 25-30.

Traffic is already jacked up ! Atlanta traffic is getting to be like L.A.

We probably won't be leaving Lilburn/Stone Mountain until about 4:30... Traffic is going to be insane. Hope we can get there with time to go to the Varsity before the game.

I arrived on campus at 2:30. Its already bad.

But. All the lots are opening to park which is perfect.
