GT comes in at #47 out of 65 schools in P5. We are #10 out of 14 in the ACC. Thoughts?

Any significant caveats or disclaimers to this accounting that anyone is aware of? Odd that Texas comes in at #14, for example. Does this include normal expenses for league travel, etc.?

One thing I notice is that Oregon is #42. They have insane facilities, so I'm wondering if this includes spending on those items, or if that was a donation from Papa Phil.

According to USAToday, they had the highest revenue of any athletic program. I think there are some book-keeping caveats to be noted, but the methodology from syracuse.com isn't well described. The facilities could have fallen under "general athletic expenses" and not been part of the football revenue.

There's a link in the link and when looking up Georgia Tech there I noticed a caveat that debt service was not included.

I'm wondering if the schools with high end benefactors (i.e. Oregon with Knight and OK St with Pickens) have their numbers skewed because a sizable chunk of their football expenses are taken care of by them.
