The thing about the gold helmets this season is by contrast they make it much more obvious how awfully Adidas missed on the gold of our jerseys and pants. I hope not to see our current gold jerseys in any combination again. I’d take any color but red over those.

We last wore the regular gold helmets in week 2 against SC St. We wore gold helmets with black accents against BG.

This is why I’ll always have a soft spot for the Navy jerseys. (Although white and gold jerseys/helmets will always be my favorite.)
