Great thread as I was looking this morning myself and then read a few wary reviews of Bovada in regards to withdrawing your money. I signed up and then got skeptical. I think it's a legit site I just got cold feet at the last minute because of a few reviews. It sounded like you had to withdraw your currency in bitcoin and then convert it? Can anyone speak to this?

We shouldn't be far from the Vegas casino sportsbooks being able to host online after the current ruling, I would hope.

I went there and I wasn’t able to track down the bet I was looking for. In college it seemed like there were only 58 bets to choose from, mainly on just games.

So technically speaking gambling online is illegal in most states in the US.... for now. So to protect themselves legally, they don't allow you to put money out with a bank account tracked to the US as they would have proof you are doing things very illegally. So the loophole they have is giving out bitcoin, which doesn't have a physical address associated with it, can Be used without them worrying about repercussions. Getting a bitcoin wallet is free. I've been mining for 4 years so I don't think it's a huge deal as I've earned spent and transferred bitcoin for a while.

As for the betting set up, there are three options on the screen where the betting is. First one is time. Second one is bet type. "Futures" is likely what you're looking for. Third one is a filter, which you can choose NFL or college. It's a little confusing st first but one you lay around with it, it's super easy to use. Live betting there is easy money.

Alright. So, I've been betting online for about 8 years now.

I've used 5dimes.eu and bovada.

5dimes has better lines and faster lines, but customer service is crap and foreign.

Bovada has so-so lines and an okay layout for the site. (They just changed the site about 2 months ago and I hate the change). But bovada sends you a check in the mail. It takes 10-15 days for you to get it. Its a foreign check. Takes another 3-5 days to clear. But it always does.

I've made around 10k or so off bovada and about 2-3k using 5dimes.

5dimes can do a moneygram free once a month with a max payout of $450 and minimum of $50.

Both sites have a minimum you can withdraw. Bovada is $100 and 5dimes is $50.

5dimes you can move spreads by up to 5 points without having to tease the it with another game. You just might pay -130 for the bet instead of -110.

If you have any questions I'm more than happy to answer

We took the under in that for about 5 units and I parlayed wyoming -4 with the under for an additional unit.

Already looking at Minnesota-17 over nmsu.

So we can request the check payout and receive within 3 weeks and not have to opt for the bitcoin grab?

Yup! 5dimes pays out a check from Canada and it takes about 5 business days to get here. Bovada takes about 10-15 business days. Usually I get mine within 3 calendar weeks.

All sites are going towards bitcoin. I just hate the hoops I have to jump through to get my money.

Back in the day I could put money in with my debit card or credit card and they would send me a "refund" for my winnings. On the same card. They had to stop that for legal purposes.

But bovada has never ripped me off. Always paid me and everything. Same with 5dimes.

When you decid6to deposit money into the account you may have to call your bank/credit card company and let them know you're making a purchase online from overseas.
