Not sure why Auburn’s NIL campaign has its own thread on a GT board.

But I will say, it’s super strange to me to ask people to give money directly to athletes to play for their favorite teams. It would be like pro teams starting GoFundMe’s in order to raise money to lure in top free agents to sign with their team. It’s a super strange phenomenon that people have seemingly bought into whole-heartedly.

The only real solution I have is to sever college athletics programs completely from their academic institutions, and just call the athletes employees and give them a salary and be done with it.
