Did we misuse Jalen Moore? How is he doing so well at Oklahoma when he didn’t do much for us?

There’s a transfer portal. Good players from other schools come here, and some of ours go elsewhere. Moore went to Oklahoma, a well funded school with Loyola Chicago’s old coach that went to the sweet 16 a bunch, and has a deep bench. He’s in a situation where other players can help him look good (and vice versa).

Some of our former players do well elsewhere. Some don’t. It looks like it’s proportion to what you’d expect.

That’s not to say we’re playing well this year—we aren’t, so far—but if it’s an indictment to coaching for former players to play well elsewhere, almost every program would be tarred

Nobody in this fanbase should be surprised a Jalon Moore with 4 years of experience and S&C is excelling. He was pure potential during his time with Pastner and this whole board knew he’d be a good one.

Eta. To be fair to them though, most of them wanted him fired after his introductory press conference. Since they thought he couldn't speak well.

No. It doesn't matter. That's why I answered with the most obvious answer.

Same way the Mutombo thread doesn't matter and should probably be nuked.
