Northern Illinois shocked Nebraska beating them 21-17 in Lincoln and dropping them to 1-2. I think Mike Riley is finished at Nebraska and they'll be shopping for a new head coach in December. Kevin Sumlin will be a candidate for that job when he's fired in December from Texas A&M.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after Charlie Strong or Scott Frost.

Charlie would be a great hire and Nebraska could easily outbid USF. Scott Frost would be the guy I think they go after because he played for Nebraska.

Tom Herman will in my opinion wind up being a coaching disappointment and Texass made a huge mistake letting him go because it will take time to turn the Shorthorns around.

Nebraska is a horrible place to recruit because there is absolutely no instate talent so you have to recruit nationwide. Similar situation to Tennessee,Kentucky and Indiana.
