A pretty challenging slate overall leading in to ACC play.

The Orlando Classic bracket has been announced. Looks like we open with a solid matchup against Marquette, which could lead to a Teacher/Pupil game against Michigan State. Unlikely we'd faec Kansas unless we landed in the championship game.

It looks like our most likely set of games would be Marquette, MSU, & Tennessee, assuming we beat Marquette. I'd be pretty please with that slate.

Was thinking the exact same potential slate. Marq lost a LOT when Buzz left. It would be a minor miracle if we beat MichSt but stranger things have happened. I remember when we almost beat them at their place (IIRC) with that odd Zam Fredrick-led squad.

Before we get excited by the headline, let's keep in mind the depth, albeit quite young, Vandy is bringing in to their backcourt. Assume no gimmes this year.
