Probably doesn't affect class size since the staff was probably assuming he would play his fourth and final year this year.

This kind of a attrition happens everywhere and is no knock on a program other than they whiffed on a kid, but that's why you get 85 schollies in the first place. As Techster indicated, his hs film and offers suggested he was a good bet to contribute.

I think he's a victim of the 3-4 to 4-3 transition. He got caught in a numbers crunch.
