I think the best way to judge this is by the NFL draft, have any Tech OL ever been drafted higher then Big Red?

The NFL Draft is a good indicator for how much pure talent ant college team has on their rosters. There are a lot of very good college football players who's college production and skills don't translate very well to the NFL. Still most top teams will have several players taken annually in the NFL Drafts. GT has not been one of those teams in a while. Having Big Red taken in the 1st round was great for GT. GT needs to have more high end talent to win the ACC and get into the CFP.

The best effect it will have is that prospective linemen will know they can come to Tech and be drafted in the first round, just like they could at Alabama or any other football factory. And make eight figures.
