I expect attendance will be up this year. I think there was some uncertainty in the fanbase early last year. That pretty much evaporated as the season progressed and can hardly be found now. I think we well sell out several and think the ones that don't will be close. 1st game probably has lowest attendance.

What is the purpose of these numbers? The NCAA must use them for something, but I can't see that as indicating how enthused or dedicated the fan base is.

The simple fact that every stadium is a different size makes it pretty difficult to compare teams, right?

I'd like to see the numbers as percent of stadium filled on average. Not that I think this would push us up in the rankings, but I'd just like to see how we compare in that statistic.

FBS teams must have an average attendance, paid or actual, at home games of at least 15,000 per game. Must meet the attendance standard once in a two year rolling basis. I don't know what the penalty for failure to meet the attendance requirement.

Don't know either but the threat was used to shut the Ivy League out when they refused to enlarge all the stadiums in their conference.
