Question for you, YJF2018....Why do schools like Butler(8-0, and leading a 6-2 Florida club by double-digits with 15 minutes to play)year in and year out through this decade, have these good seasons and GT can’t beat a very marginal team like Syracuse? They are up 23 in the second half over us.

I think schools like Butler tend to get better basketball talent than GT gets a lot of the time

Yes, I believe you are right. Indianapolis is fertile. Coach Hyder recruited Indiana, Ohio, Illinois. I just keep hoping the ACC reputation would counteract our ineptness and having Ga. as a really good H.S. basketball state, would make a difference. Pastnerd blaming today on not having an injured player out ‘til the 31st and a transfer not eligible until the 18th. Alvarado and Usher.

Butler has won almost 60 non-league games in a row, at home.

I’ve had her in my prayers since hearing about the Breast Cancer fight, that she has fought back from since the beginning of this year. She’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. Family always comes first with her, and she follows her players after they leave as much as any coach I know. Glad it was a fairly close game for 3 Q’s.

That article is not very accurate. It correctly identifies that 4 players had scored 100+ at teh college level. But then mentions Wilt Chamberlain, who scored 100 points in one game in the NBA. Unfortunately it omits, Frank Selvey of Furman, who scored 100 points in a NCAA game sometime in the mid-50's.

#19 Tennessee plays #13 Memphis at 2:30 pm. Memphis is highly overrated in my opinion.
