Top 5 teams and top 5 individuals not on an advancing team will make the finals. Tech is ranked 8th as indicated on the scoreboard.

2 bad holes (the same hole strangely enough) where 2 of our guys both took double bogeys. That was 4 strokes right there. On the flipside, Norton had a 3 on a par-5. Dayam!

They decide the courses before they pick the field. Looks like they just did a snake draft of the national golfstat.com rankings to populate the six regionals. With the only exception being teams get to stay at their home course. Which is why UGA gets to stay home as a 3 seed, and Duke gets Athens despite being ranked lower than GT who travels to Washington.

So if we had been a little worse this year we could have stayed home.

Yeah we made up 6 strokes on OU in the span of about one hole near the end of our rounds today. Not in a bad spot, but not comfortable.

If the top 5 make it as noted above, we should be ok. We are 10 strokes clear of the 6th spot and 7 clear of the 5th.

We don't make things easy on ourselves but it looks like we will advance with a last Par by CSU. Hopefully we put all together for the Championship

Questions from a fan with little knowledge of the team:
Are we overrated every year, similarly to baseball the last 15 or so years (Hopefully not this year)?
Is our 6th guy a step down, as one of our player's score never counted, and seems could have been subbed?
Is the ACC that bad?
