Thought I would put this out here for time killing till season starts and afterxseason ends.
The NCAA site lets u sort Grad rate by school, athletics, year as well as by conference.
Ga Tech GSR
2010-11 = 55
2012-13 = 63
2014-15 = 72
2016-17 = 82
Continuous improvement

At a great academic institution.

2010-11= 65
2012-13 = 82
2014-15 = 73
2016- 17= 53
Iratic and very low at last check.

How could u not find a course of study and graduate from uga?

Unless this last gsr 53%) is incorrect, this , Imo, is borderline exploitation by the Ga BOR.

We are headed into BC, Wake Forest , Duke, territory as great schools that are at top of ACC Conference in GSR .

I think we can get near Stanford and Nd in mid 90s but they have easy courses.

AS WE IMPROVE OUR GSR we can say to a recruit( family)" if u (son ) comes to play at ga tech u (he) will graduate from a great school and here is the proof. "

Comment away. U have 2 days!

Now let's go win 75% if our games in 2018!

Yep, the only guys whose win percentage in the last 50 years were on equal footing or better than CPJ. CPJ has managed to win a bunch of games while keeping academic performance high at the same time.

These stats you put at the top could very easily be changed generically to ACC vs SEC.

The ACC is the premier athletic AND academic conference in the country.

Hate to point this out but as the GSR rate went up ,our win % went down. Impressive but you can't put that on the wall of records at the AA unfortunately.

As coach says. It is what it is.
High academic standards, limited curriculum and Zero easy ones, and a tough football schedule.

So the higher the GSR the more confident a recruit is that he will get thru.

BUT AlaGold, u r right about winning. We need a couple of good years on the field for the GSR to kick in and make us more like Stanford/ND verses Duke/ Wake forrest.

H s coaching son says even Duke is recruiting the top academic athletes in Dallas.
Remember our offense can be good w 3 stars and few 4 stars.

IMO a marginal academic d l 4-5 star that sees our high GSR as a positive could make a big difference!!.

2018 its time.

Clemson wasn't the current Clemson under OLeary. 2004/5/6/7/8 Miami averaged 4-4 in ACC play, so they weren't the Miami of today either. A lot of stuff has changed. Hell, Georgia Tech isn't the same as it used to be. The school itself graduates twice as many people as it used to 25 years ago. I think we can (should be able to) walk and chew gum at the same time.
