Refs very bad, wide receivers couldn’t get any separation, o line was not good. Not as bad as I thought considering no Gibbs and tons of defensive starters and players out

Been a while since I’ve seen two teams look that disinterested in playing the game. Though, plenty of interest in standing around and talking ****.

Sims once again played awful and the overall offensive coaching was awful.
We still got beat by a better team though so let’s not sweat it too much. They’re 8-3 for a reason.

Defense played well. Promising for the future. A lot of their yards were through the air and lots of them were just accurate passes with big receivers making plays.
Running game looked great at times but could hardly find a rhythm in the passing game to balance it out. Odd playcalling at times.
Too many backbreaking penalties. 2 false starts on the 1 yard line preventing a TD really cost us in the final score.
Blegh.

Really hope 2021 with a full spring and fall camp leads to some promising development.

As some of us had said, NC State is not a good team. What a wasted opportunity.
