He isn't playing, hasn't played a snap all year, cannot play this year, and will likely be cut at the end of the season when Kelvin Benjamin comes off IR?

I'm not sure. Carolina has a numbers crunch at WR. They would have to not keep 2 that are on the current 53 man roster as Benjamin will be back. Maybe 2 out of the 3 of Bersin, Cotchery, and Norwood aren't retained, but I just don't see it. It isn't meant as a knock on Hill either, I just don't see the math working out in his favor.

I just hope our coaches are using this nugget over and over on the recruiting trail. I think most kids are smart enough to realize they can make the NFL going through GT, the big question is do they want to endure the sacrifices necessary to stay eligible and eventually graduate.

Yeah, but more so here. GT guys have an overwhelming need to be right over just about all else. A mutt board is not gonna debate this topic. On the contrary, they're gonna hold it up as a badge of honor.

Whoever put out this information set the rules on which roster statuses to include. I highly doubt they said, "Let's count GT injured reserve but not other school's." So, why even find need to mention it? It's like the win-loss record, some always want to discount our FCS wins but then cite other school's full season records including any FCS games.

Some of the replies to this thread is a reason why I like to say "GT football can't have nice things".
Even when GT gets good press (and trust me, whenever GT is being singled out for one of the biggest sports event along with other CFB programs, regardless of technicality, it's a GOOD thing) some GT fans just can't enjoy the spotlight.
