In other words, at least 72% of fifth-year seniors are playing under a different coach than the one who recruited them — a number that is likely higher due to some recruits committing before their senior year of high school.

So far at GT CPJ has had 3 recruiting classes (08, 09, 10,) all go through college with the same coach. Will be 4 with the 2011 class at the end of this season.

Is this really a big deal to kids nowadays? @flea77 @Ibeeballin @Coachbraun72 @ctweimer what say you guys (and everyone else of course)?

It was a big deal to us. We trust this staff to do what is best for our son and provide him with the environment and training that will continue to allow him to develop into the man he is supposed become.
Remember this is bigger than wins and losses. At least it's supposed to be.

Exactly. But this is also the type of family and kid that goes to tech too. Almost regardless of the head coach our program seems to always be our program

Mmmmmm....not sure I completely agree 33. We do draw more mature and well grounded players than other schools. But talent levels of classes has not always been static. There have been ups and downs....currently on an upturn thankfully.
