Will Glover - Offensive Quality Control Specialist
Jason Semite-Defensive Quality Control Specialist

These 2 men have been hired today per a tweet by Collins. I wonder what their responsibilities will include outside the "obvious quality control" title?
I imagine it would be considered helpful to have the staff full of former GT players who have "walked a mile" ahead of these current players who are in the midst of enduring the same struggles/challenges of being a GT Student Athlete.
Anyone have any insight on the specifics of Glover's and Semore's coaching experience(s) are and how much they are being paid? Is Collins coaching staff being expanded in number(s) beyond what we have had previously? I do like how it seems there is "extra" weight given to strengths in recruiting success/reputation.

I hope Will will get to work with the WR some
I wouldn't think that Collins would isolate/prevent Glover from doing that because it's common sense to pair them up with the position group that they used to play. However it probably isn't their sole responsibility.

According to the press release, they will work on opposition scouting and game planning. So, a lot of film room time.

FWIW Glover didn't actually graduate from Tech.

Good additions though. Looks like Stansbury opened up the purse strings for a broadened staff.

So they use statistical methods to determine the rate of defects and isolate the sources of variance in production?

Seriously, what do those jobs do?

Then maybe these coaches will also be used to evaluate/analyze HS (recruit) players tapes

We have another department for that. The recruiting office looks at highschool tape, QC looks at tape and helps the coaches gameplan. They either look at opponents game tape or they will look at our own to see our tendencies and how they would attack our weaknesses.

Are these folks slotting into the roles that were established by the recruiting fundraising campaign from a year ago? Or were those folks who were initially hired retained? If they are replacing the old ones, these hires aren't an actual expansion of the current staff.
