Is soccer finally going to break through in the US?

It's already broken through. MLS currently has the third highest average attendance figures in American pro sports. That's above the NBA and NHL.

When pro teams from overseas come to play in the US, stadiums are sold out. Americans will pay to see top level players play. Here's a match between Real Madrid and AC Milan this weekend:

Attendance was over 70K for an exhibition match. Soccer is also a top 3 most participated sport in the US.

I started playing soccer after I graduated from GT. I can tell you the change in the soccer landscape of the US has been dramatic. There's still a LOT of room to grow. When the World Cup comes in 2026, it's going to shatter attendance and revenue records.
