But we know both have limited playing time (not considered in BPM). Those with more playing time would make the starters Kyle, Baye, Kowaci, Tyzhaun, and Nait, with high consideration for Dallan and Miles (leading scorerer). Nait is lowest of the starters but BPM does not account for grit, defense and court vision, teamwork, and leadership. As a guardrail against applying BPM to a player, Damen's NBA career BPA was .3, stated as a decent starter or solid 6th man. But we know he was an excellent long-time high salaried point guard. Coach Stoudamire will hear statistics, but I think he is using his basketball acumen to put the best 5 on the court with the best skills at the best time to win. His legacy is measured by wins and losses. And we can tell he hates losing and players not playing to their potential.This year I will be content with him winning Tech's 105 year win average of 52% of the games and 40% in conference, speaking statistically.
