Well the president said he will retire summer of 2019, so I doubt they fire him instead of letting him walk away. I don't know who has the ability to fire the BOR, but yes they deserve to lose their jobs.Durkin shouldn't be the last one fired over this. The folks that lacked the courage and foresight to do the right thing should no longer be in positions of power.
I read that there was an investigation and Maryland is not able to fire the coach with cause. Meaning they would be required to pay a $6Million buyout. This was the reason the board decided to retain the coach.
Not saying I agree, but if you don't have a way to pay the money, I can see the justification.
