Has there been anything said about the severity of his injury?
“I think Marcus [Allen] is going to be okay. They just held him out as a precaution. We’ll find out tomorrow. Certainly Marcus Marshall can hit some big plays. He needs to learn to hang onto that football. We’ll have a little discussion on that. It’s like I said, he’s got ability. He’s got good feet. He’s got good speed. I thought Patrick Skov did some good things. He got some tough yards. Both of those guys played about like I thought they would. Marcus Allen didn’t get enough in there [because] he got hurt a little bit, but he had a couple nice runs when he was in there.”

Yes, he certainly did. I was disappointed when he got hurt and I hope he's ok. A three headed monster at BB would be a nice thing to have working in some games this year, especially since Skov will be gone next year. Getting some game experience coming back with quality BBs would certainly be a plus.

Good sign. He looked really down & disappointed when leaving the field last night. It really showed.
Probably was disappointed because he knew he was gonna get some good yards/TDs if he got a chance to play. Wasn't the second Marshall TD after his injury? I'm not sure Marshall gets back in the game after his fumble if Allen didn't get hurt.

Now they know what Johnson's expectations are. On a night that Skov ran for 80 or so and scored three times and Marshall ran for 180 yards and two long TDs, Johnson opined to the AJC that "they played about as I expected." The boy is a tough audience.
