Can someone help.explain the format to these college golf tournaments? Why does Tech have 6 players playing, while most have 5 on a team. Clemson has like 8 players playing. Obviously some of the additional players scores don’t count. Just curious

Some play as individuals. Also, Ogletree shot 28 on the back nine today.

Five play as the team with lowest 4 scores counting each day. Others then can play as individuals but don't count for the team score.
