It’s unfortunate that a CFP game could get this lopsided. Oklahoma looked like an FCS team out there.

I'll comment with GT examples to help with the severity of the situation:

OU's secondary was depleted by injury. Like GT 2015-level depleted.

Didn't help that guys, like their top pass rusher, got suspended. Imagine 2009 GT in the ACCCG without Derrick Morgan.

Changing coordinators is one step ... but you've got to let him have his own assistants. Some of the guys on that defensive staff are mailing it in. Imagine CPJ hiring Mike Leach as his OC and keeping Sewak as OL coach.

With 130 teams there's a 3% chance of making the playoffs, and the fact that OU has done it 4 out of the 6 years says a lot. Are they they Buffalo Bills of the CFP? Maybe ... but I can think of a lot of worse things to be.

OU was really banged up and one of their defensive backs was 5'8'' and he was the one defending Justin Jefferson who caught 4 touchdown passes
