Tuesday 4 PM.

The Bisons are pretty good. Took a series from ND and Illinois-Chicago and then got swept by Auburn. But two of the Auburn games were 1 run games; so competitive.

For a mid-week game, they lost to Tenn Tech last week and will probably be low on pitching having a Wednesday game the next day before Miss State on the weekend (they are masochists).

Wonder who will start for us and whether we can reverse this trend:

The Boston College Eagles are off to a good start this season. They’re currently 9-1. They play UNC-Asheville today and will open ACC play at Virginia Tech this weekend.
BC is looking good. We get them in a couple weeks, and hopefully by then we're back at full strength.

Hard to get a read on VT. They're 10-2, but haven't played anyone yet. Good litmus test for the hokies this week.

Our weekend opponent, ND, hasn't played anyone AND they don't have much of a record to show for it. If we can avoid spotting our opponent 2-4 runs before we get going, this is a good bounce back opportunity following the mutts.

Love to hear it - love it when anyone beats those cocky bastards...won't ever forget the finger flip...
Especially the way they did it. BC led 6-5 going into the bottom of the 9th, but Tennessee started their half of the inning with a homer and a triple...so game tied 6-6 with winning run on third and NO ONE OUT. BC changes pitchers, and gets a bouncer to 1b...runner holds at third. Then a fly ball to CF...AND THE CF GUNS DOWN THE RUNNER AT HOME! Inning over on that DP. BC gets a homer in the top of the 10th, retires UT 1-2-3 to win the game.
