Well, another positive is we only have 2 more games to go.

On the flip side, a quick glance at next year's schedule makes you wonder how many more Temple references we're going to get in post-game pressers next year.

The current W-L of next year's schedule is 77-45, which roughly translates to playing 12 teams that average 8-4. *gulp*

Clemson (11-0) and UGA (9-1) skew the wins heavily in one direction while Gardner Webb (3-8) skew the losses a bit in the other. Yeah, yeah, the Coastal is a hot mess as usual ... but given we can't even beat Citadel at home I don't think Gardner-Webb is a gimme next year. But it should be.

Everyone points to the OL being the main reason our offense is offensive, and even though we've got 3 CBK-approved OL coming in ... I seriously doubt they're the second coming of Creed Humphrey and Isaiah Wilson. They're probably an upgrade, though, but they're still going to play like freshmen at times.

All looks bad but lets look at the positive things that happen yesterday at the game and make a list.

1) We didn't miss a FG or an Extra point yesterday.

2) As bad as we have been on kickoff coverage P'nut helped us by not scoring and we only had to KO once yesterday.

3) Any great punters will all want to come here and punt 8 to 9 times a game.

4) No matter what we can only lose 2 more games this year.

5) By half time you have more room to sit with half the fans going home early.

6) You don't have to stay up late thinking about how you lost the game when you lose by 45 points.

7) We made it hard for VT to fire their coach.

8) If you made a bet that Tech would not win more then 3 games this year you have a lock on that and will be rich.

9) There were no long lines in the bathroom.

10) Most teams it would hurt to play on Saturday and turn around and play this Thursday. We should still be fresh

Please add to the list
Does the game finally ended count, as a positive? I really don't have much.

-The PA guy is only two games away from being fired (hopefully).

-We won't have to have that stupid sing-a-long cam during the UGA game because there won't be enough Tech fans in attendance to go to.

- Any fans with early-onset dementia are probably loving it right now.

-The weather was nice.
I'm pretty sure the PA guy at football games is the PA guy from the basketball games. It's like we went cheap and got a 2-for-1 deal. Its seems like the PA guys has no idea what's going on on the field.

Positives and negatives from the game:
  • I'm starting to like rap music. Tech likes rap music too.
  • I came home and said some rap words to my wife.
  • Discovered the wive does not appreciate my fondness for rap music, so the dog and I slept on the sofa.
  • I said some rap words to the dog. He peed on me and the sofa.

Next year, the few fans remaining should be able to agree and dictate the starting times for home games

Very good point.

Would-be ticket buyer on phone: “What time does the game start
this Saturday?”
GT ticket office: “What time can you be here?”

There is nothing positive to report.... Coach Collins is in over his head..unless he has intentionally has blown up this season for his recruits....

Which would mean next year we should expect 6 wins...and play in all phases of the program

I think you got it backwards. It's "how bout them dawgs? Piss on em!" Not the other way around.

A real positive: This is the last time we will face Bud Foster. Hard to imagine VT will be able to find an equal replacement to him any time soon.

My positive takeaway was that I couldn’t watch the game as I was at a Broadway show. Beetlejuice was hella more entertaining than watching us get our $hit pushed in.
