Just curious when the last time those among us regular posters attended a game at McCamish. Many of you live 700 miles away (or further Pea) or have kids but still attend on occasion, but I’m still curious.

For fun, list the last game you attended, and if you’re a season ticket holder, how long.

No right or wrong answers.

Last Game - GT / Boston College (Jan 4)
Season Ticket holder since 2012
3x this season

Before it was called McCamish Pavilion. Been to Atlanta maybe 5-6 times since then, and none were during basketball season.

Men: Clemson last week
Women: Virginia Tech a little before that

Season tickets since moving back to Atlanta in 2018 from DC. I was in 105 the first couple seasons, moved to 109 for one season, and now am in my third season in 102.

What is this McCamish Pavilion you speak of?

My last home game was at at Alexander Memorial Coliseum - on the corner of Fowler and 10th Avenue. We had a nickname for it. Can you guess?

You remember, it's where the Freshman Cake race started. We ran down Fowler toward Grant Field, wrapped around Peter's Park where the basketball and racquetball courts are, and finished in a parking lot behind the SAE house.

I was in the lead going past the Beta house, but I was gassed and eased up a bit, and someone caught me at the corner of Fourth. So I came in second. No kiss from the Homecoming Queen, but I did get a cake. Seems like I should have gotten a kiss from the runner-up...funny, that just occurred to me. Don't know why.

What are we talking about? Oh...

I'd guess my last home game was on February 29, 1984. We lost to UNC 69-56. (I had to look that up. The rest I remember.)

Last game: Clemson @ GT 1/14/25
STH since 1985-1986, the first year of the expanded AMC (1st expansion)
And I’m always surprised how many seats in 104 that were unavailable for reseating are empty almost every game

I don't get this either. I'm as low in 102 as I have been able to get via reseating but they sell Row 4 and Row 5 every game as single tickets. Those are the most important seats in the arena for creating home court advantage/making the atmosphere fun. Why do we not have diehards there?

Women’s game against Nebraska recently. Last men’s game was last year. Planned to go to 4-5 more games is year but have not been motivated to go given the poor play of the team. I know that is a bad excuse because the team needs fans in the seats to entice recruits. But it is hard to get excited about this team.

I caught a couple of games this year namely the games vs West Georgia and Texas Southern

The last women's game that I attended was the curb stomping vs Notre Dame last season.

I’m in 104, row 12. I’m totally cool with those guys not coming who sit row 1 and 2. We have sat down there for damn near every game this season.

I agree though, it would be much easier to just let me buy those seats. Seriously, how many times your ticket is punched should matter in reseating.
