The Rams have signed Laskey to a futures contract. Does anyone know what that means?

Short answer: no other team can sign him, pay is league min. And starts next season- doesn't count against teams cap and against roster number.

that would imply they think Laskey is going to be able to play in that league. Probably in LA, though, after the owner finishes torching St. Louis behind him.
