THE FLATS - Georgia Tech DB Lance Austin will be featured on Thursday night’s editions of ESPN SportsCenter as the “Big Man on Campus” for Week 8 of the college football season.

ESPN reporter Jeannine Edwards traveled to the school’s campus in Atlanta to take a look at a day in the life of Austin a few days after the “Miracle on Techwood Drive,” Austin’s 78-yard return of a blocked field goal that propelled the Yellow Jackets to a shocking win over Florida State.

The feature will debut in the 6 p.m. ET edition of SportsCenter and re-air in other editions of the program throughout the evening.

He was on about 6:45 to 6:50 ish. Not a very long feature. Showed him eating in the Edge dining room, somewhere outside on campus, a quick replay of the run, a joint interview with Lawrence, and the post game dressing room celebration with CPJ and the team.
