Having JT roll out has three positives:

1. Better sight lines
2. Less chance of batted down balls
3. Opportunity to run if nothing's open, although he can run from the pocket, too.

On the downside, it makes the field smaller and easier to defend.

The biggest plus I see from JT now is his ball security. You can tell he has made it a priority.

Has VT named a starting QB yet? Last time I checked the leading candidate was the transfer from Texas Tech.

This I believe is the pivotal game on the 2014 schedule, assuming we are 3-0 going in. We need to win as a confidence builder, a loss will suck alot of energy off of this team (and fan base).
With Miami and Duke following with back-to-back home games, a win here would really start a buzz back around the program. BDS could be rocking for the Miami game.

For iceeater: the scrimmage films are over at ramblingwreck. Somebody put them up yesterday (I think) here, but you can go over and find them easy enough. True, one could ask for more film, but fat chance of that happening this close to the season.
