Not being funny but I'm not sure how youngsters learn about any of the traditions any more. Are there some sort of training programs in the dorms for sports fans or do kids just wander over to the games clueless? I remember being trained as a RAT, you learned the rules & traditions or were subject to abuse.

I learned from the people I went to games with. As a freshman, it was with various fraternities during rush and then after rush (I was a co-op, so I stayed a GDI).

Not a kickoff but is this
one still used:

Differential x, differential y;
A squared, B squared, integral of pi;
Engineers touchdown, engineers yell;
Ga Tech Yellow Jackets, fight like hell!

Never heard that one..... It was Differential Y, Differential X, the hell with football we want sex.

I think it's just

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JACKETS! STING 'EM!

I've never heard anyone make any bee noises after Sting Em! At least that's when I'm at games. And tbh I don't want to. Uga's barking is corny and us making buzz noises would just make it look like we're ripping them off.

I hear tons of people do it and I sit in different seats all over the stadium every game and have been going to games for over 30 years as a sidewalk fan, student, and alum. its more of a Bzzzzzzz and I don't think anyone considers it a ripoff of whatever the mutts do - it's not like they invented kickoff chants.

Oh okay so it’s like a quiet bzzzzz. That’s definitely possible and makes sense. (When uga does it the loudest part of the whole thing is the WOOFWOOFWOOF)
