He wound up at San Diego St., same capacity. CMJ is known for coaching turnover. Player movement when problems arise, dissatisfaction with playing time or other reasons which typically revolve around academics. Her success ratio is fairly good overall when you factor in the challenges. As we know, G.T. is not for everybody. Including the coaches. She remains upbeat and positive. I truly believe the program is back on the rise, and the depth in athleticism with this roster, will help our transition game increasing production. Look for the defense to trap more, like the Sweet 16 team. Shouldn’t have any problem scoring. Have a post presence, good shooting and some scorers who can put it in the basket. Chemistry will be a key, as always-determining how far we can go.

Here is a top prospect for 2021:

Wait until you see Jefferson play, in her Fr.-RS season. Unlike Pugh and her injury, she will play this year. The best player in the state of Va. for 2016-17, her early practices last fall displayed a star in the making!

This thread has morphed into a party celebrating Coach MJ.

And I am 100% all in favor of that. She deserves every accolade that comes her way.

Much more athletic team. Should help the transition game. Look for them to get back to pressing on defense, particularly on dead balls or made baskets for us. Will have depth that can play.

This super talented group coming in, might take some games to mesh(doesn’t finding lineups/chemistry typically take until conference season with younger teams?). Also, D. Jefferson will be playing her first collegiate contest this coming fall. Speaking of rehabilitation from injury, Pugh Left the team. Had some experience with Ohio St. & GT.

Can’t wait to see these post players develop, along with some scorers and shooters. Young, although should make the N.C.A.A. Tournament. By that time the freshmen become sophomores.
